Future is something mysterious yet scary because of its uncertainty. It is made from your choices in your life. That's why we have famous quote "Your future is in your hand". Choosing university is one of the choices that we have to make in life in order to have the better future. That's why, it's become very confusing for many people. Right now, I'm in the same boat with those confuse people. Well, after a long consideration and deep thought, I've chosen Communication as my major. But I still can't decide which university that I will take.
After doing researches on many universities, I finally come up with the short lists of universities. There are NUS, NTU, Waseda, and UI. I love to and really have an interest to study overseas, but I also don't mind to study in Indonesia either. FYI, NUS and NTU have their deadline close in the middle and late of December. Waseda will OPEN the enquiry on 7 January 2010.
Well, the main problem starts today. UI has just opened PMDK and it was informed yesterday. I just gave back the letter of confirmation today to Mr. Thomas and guess what? I'm one of the three chosen (lucky?) students to take the PMDK form!
Am I happy? Of course.
Am I proud? I can't deny.
Am I more confuse? Yes, I am.
Well, as one of the most (or the most, i guess) favourite university in Indonesia, UI has a limited PMDK form for each school. The number of form was calculated based on IP of school alumnis who are studying at UI and number of serious applicants who are applying and really going to UI through this PMDK. And until now, I still don't sure whether to take the PMDK form or just give it back to mr. Thomas so other student can use it instead of me.
Honestly, I prefer to study overseas IF I can get through the test and interview, get the grant and scholarship. I know it is very competitive! Just count the SMAK 1 students, plus all over brainy teens all over the world, perhaps? (but I have to try, haven't I?) And there is NO guarantee that I can pass all the long way through.
Okay, so the choices that I have left:
1. Take the PMDK form, fill it, hope to get accepted and also apply to overseas universities and also hoping to get accepted. Later on, I'll just throw away UI and make my school get less PMDK form next year plus don't forget the critics (the teachers and friends)!
2.Forget about PMDK, apply for overseas univ. If I am not accepted, I will just go through SIMAK.
Fyi, chance of get accepted from SIMAK is 5000:150000!
The worst possible possibility is I throw away my PMDK (or my PMDK form is not accepted by UI because my mark is lower from other PMDK applicants), and I am not accepted by overseas univ, and I have to go through SIMAK. And I hope to not fall in THAT such condition.
Well, that are two possible actions that I can take.
Please help me to decide!!

nginepp part 2
Pas gue nunggu di belakang pintu, tiba-tiba gue teringat dengan sifat barbar nya si yovi.
Langsung deh gua bilang ke Raissa, "Eh, si Yovi kan bar-bar..gue gak jadi deket pintu ah. Bisa-bisa di buka langsung kehantem muka gue pake pintu" sambil beringsut menjauhi pintu. Sambil dag-dig-dug dengerin langkah kaki orang bar-bar naik tangga, si DT malah nyenggol mainan Buddha yang bisa ketawa sendiri. Alhasil semua orang langsung melotot ke si DT, deh..hahaha. Yang dipelototin sibuk bikin tuh Buddha diem dari ketawanya dengan gaya 'ala dt" gitu. Sambil ditemani tetesan pistol air yang bocor ke kaki gue, akhirnya bunyi langkah kaki pun terdengar semakin mendekat. Begitu si Yovi buka pintu, langsung deh tanpa ba-bi-bu gue, Raissa, n Erine nyemprot si Yovi pake si pistol bocor.hahaha. Yang disemprot mah cuma pasrah aja dapet sambutan air tepat di pintu kamarnya dengan tampang swt nya gitu.hahahaha. Abis itu, langsung deh si Yovi diinterogasi kayak gimana perasaanya, etc, dll. Bisa dibayangin sendiri lah kurang lebih kayak apa. Dia bilang, dia udah nyangka bakalan "ada apa-apa". Tapi dia gak nyangka kalo "apa-apanya" itu tuh sama dengan "sekumpulan 4 orang cebol minus 1 tambah erine". Sayang sekali Grace gak bisa dateng gara-gara kejebak macet di Sunter ;(
Awalnya dia biasa" aja, sampe si dete keluarin statement "eh, lu tau gak sih kalo kita mo nginep?". Yang ditanya langsung kaku gitu.hahaha. Itu baru namanya surprise buat dia.
Abis itu langsung dia mandi, n langsung deh ke resto. Perut rasanya dah keroncongan setengah mati. hahaha. Begitu selesai makan, langsung balik ke rumahnya. Diawali dengan chit-chat gak penting, sampe mulai saling catch up berita dan gosip terkini ^^ sambil makan snack.hahaha. Menggendutlah kita semua..Semuanya ngoceh gak berenti sampe jem 4 pagi! Gila bener..The power of girl's mouth..ckckck. Padahal besok nya gw mesti dah dijemput jem setengah 8 pagi! Alhasil, gua bangun tidur dengan sakit badan plus kepala. Sesampenya di rumah, langsung bablas tidur lagi! ^^
Yah, pengalaman nginep yang menyenangkan. Lain kali, mesti bikin lagi! hahaha

Kokology
Have you ever heard any about kokology? Kokology is study of mind. It is from word kokoro (Japanese word for mind) and logy (Latin word for study). We can found the kokology series in the bookstore and it's in Bahasa,although the translation is not so good. Kokology books are not like motivation books or physcology books. It works like a quiz, so it's more interesting rather than boring. The book is full of quiz about several conditions and we have to answer how will we react in certain condition. Plus the explanation about what our answers mean. It says that it can reveal our identity, deepest passion, and even about sex life.
These are some of the questions : (taken from banibiasa)
Tips before you start: (by me)
Don't read the choices first. Imagine first. Find out what will you do and then match it with the available choices. If you read the choices first, usually you will answer the first choice that you see, NOT what you imagine. (it happens to me..)
1. You find a locked briefcase on the street. There is no one there. You open the briefcase and you see a big sum of money, without any identity. What will you think?

Tanggal 9 November yang lalu, si yovi ultah untuk ke 17 kalinya.
Gak nyangka dah 17 taon, tapi kelakuannya tetep gak bertambah dewasa..
hahahaha
Dalam rangka memperingati hari jadinya yang ke 17,
gw diundang nyokapnya si yovi buat bikin surprise buat si yovi..
dasar emaknya yang emang centil,
dia ngajak gw dan beberapa yang laen nginep di rumahnya tanpa sepengetahuan si yovi.
Yah, gw yang diajak sih hepi" aja..
Lagian emang karena beda kelas dan jurusan, kita udah lama gak cerita macem".
Jadi langsung aja deh gw setuju ^^
Yah, singkat cerita, datanglah hari jumat yang dijanjikan.
Rencana nyokapnya sih, kita ngumpet di kamarnya si yovi..
ntar pas dia masuk, kita semprot rame" pake pistol aer..
hahaha
Awalnya janjian dateng ketemuan di kamarnya "before 7",
tapi gara" hujan yang mengguyur kota Jakarta,
walhasil molor semua deh..
si dete baru dateng jem setengah 8 kali..hehe
gara" gitu rencana kita jadi "agak tercium" sama si yovi..
Wong si yovi udah mao pulang, tapi jadi diajak bokapnya muter" supermarket gara" mereka" (fyi, gw dateng jem 6..haha) yang molor.
Begitu dikasih tanda" kalo si yovi dah masuk garasi,
kita semua buru" ngumpet di deket belakang pintu..
Sebagai temen yang baek,
gua menawarkan diri jadi tim penembak muka yovi pake pistol air..
hehehe
jadilah gua ngumpet di yang paling deket pintu..

Hee Ah Lee
A couple days ago, i read a Diary of Hee Ah Lee.
I'm sure all of you have heard about this famous Korean four-finger pianist.
The book is not too thick, and it has illustration in every chapter.
I consider this as light reading.
So, what's interesting here?
Well, I've heard about her piano playing.
I've heard about her all year practice, all her fantastic drudge work.
But I've never heard the whole story..
And I believe, behind great people, there also another great people.
So, I just read the book.
It reveals that Hee Ah's mother, Woo Kap-sun, was a nurse.
She met her husband as her patient in the hospital where she worked.
Hee Ah's father was ex-National Korean Army who had permanent physical defect.
His spine was broken because his duty, so he couldn't move his body permanently.
In that condition, Woo Kap-sun married him. *wow!*
And she would giving birth to Hee Ah later.
In my opinion,it was a miracle that Woo Kap-sun could giving birth.
Is her husband condition really could do THAT? *you know what i mean.. * =p
At first, Woo Kap-sun didn't realize that she was pregnant.
She thought she had the disease, so she drank flu medicine.
That's why, Hee Ah was born with several disabilities, such as autism, a-knee-long leg, and four fingers like lobster claw.
It is told that at first, there is a little bone after her knee.
But the orthopedist says, it is better for her to use the artificial leg.
So the doctor amputate that little bone, so Hee Ah's leg is only a-knee-long.
It was a big operation and it was very painful.
*Just imagine your bone is cut off from your body..*
But, Hee Ah couldn't use the artificial leg.
She couldn't move freely, and sometimes she fell, leaved bruises and scratch everywhere. That's why, Hee Ah doesn't use the artificial legs now.
As a child, Hee Ah loved to walk on her own knee. But it made her knee swell and suppurate.
*Just try to walk with your knee, and you will know why it will swell and suppurate* Therefore, the doctor and her mother must suck the suppurate with a big needle.
Once again, this must be painful.
Woo Kap-sun is the person behind Hee Ah success. She is wonderful mother and wife. She didn't give up with her daughter's condition. She teaches her like she were a normal one. *Just see how Hee Ah playing the piano*
Her husband couldn't move (Woo Kap-sun always carries her husband on her back when he wants to go upstair!) and he has a bad temper (remember, he is an ex-army!). Sometimes, he came home late, drunk. And you know what? Behind her strength, Woo Kap-sun suffers the breast cancer! But she can still take care of her family!
I think this is very inspiring. With all her disability, sickness, and family condition, she can survive and makes her daughter inspire all the disabled person around the world. It makes me realize that sometimes, i forget about what i already have, and always want something that i don't have. We always want two shoes, until we see someone without leg. Don't we?

Closing SMAK 1Cup! Keren!
Sebagai anak Smuki yang punya rasa cinta tanah air yang tinggi,

tepatnya sih karena wajib dateng jem 3.
Begitu nyampe smuki, langsung absen duluu..
maklum, birokrasi yang berbelit di smukie bikin semua orang pengen cepet" absen ;)
Beres absen dateng dan pulang,
langsung deh nyerbu lapangan..
Gak kayak taon lalu, yang artisnya gj,
taon nie ngundangnya Maliq plus Glenn sekaligus!
Selamat buat smukie yang naek level sponsornya ;) hehe
liat baju panit plus baliho nya sih, sponsor nya keren"..

kesimpulan: panitia taon ini, dananya bejibun! sisain buat taon depan tuh!
